Idaho Family Dental is the practice of Anna Budolfson, DMD. Dr. Budolfson grew up in Boise and Eagle, Idaho. She attended the University of Idaho for her undergraduate studies where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended dental school at Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. At OHSU, Dr. Budolfson was one of 8 students to be selected out of her graduating class of 68 for induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Selection was based on excellence in scholarship and exemplary traits of character. Dr. Budolfson graduated With Honors from Oregon Health Sciences University in 2006. Following graduation, she and her husband returned to Boise where Dr. Budolfson has worked as an associate dentist in various dental practices since.
In April of 2014, the opportunity to take over an existing dental practice at 9203 W. Overland Rd in Boise, ID presented itself. The previous dentist at this office decided to retire. Dr. Budolfson is very excited about the opportunity to treat patients at her new office.
When Dr. Budolfson is not at her office, she is spending time with her two children and her husband. She enjoys the balance of being a mother and a dentist. When Dr. Budolfson was deciding on a name for her dental practice, she asked her 5 year-old son, Owen, what he thought she should name the practice. He thought about it for a minute and said “You should name it, ‘Mama Fixes Teeth’ because that’s what you do.” It really would have been a unique and clever name.
